How we Live our Faith

The Blessing Box, located at Grace Christian Church, is the name of both our Church's food pantry and our Little Free Pantry outside of the church. Know of any folks in need? Stop by and pick them up some food! There is more than enough and sometimes we all need a little help to make it. So, feel free to  leave what you can and take what you need. The Blessing Box also has clothing items, medications (over the counter only), as well has hygiene products, diapers, and female care products.

In January of 2024, Grace Christian stated having a conversation about replacing the 30 year-old HVAC which provided all the heating and cooling needs. After much discussion and prayer, it was obvious that the church felt a need to care for God's creation as well as provide heating and cooling. 

The members also noted that more money saved on utilities could then be spent serving the community . With this mandate, the Elders of GCC have started executing this mission by updating the HVAC with an Energy Star rated system as well as buying into the Blue Ridge Energy Community Solar Farm where the church operates 10 panels.

With these changes, the church expects to see over $1400.00 in savings to be redirected to other mission opportunities, such as The Blessing Box.
